Vendor Website Security Enhancement - 4/8/2009

We are pleased to announce a significant security enhancement to our Vendor Website -- VeriSign SSL Encryption. This significant enhancement will protect and encrypt all information that is entered on our website using one of the best SSL Certificates available today. This process will ensure that the data you provide on our website is fully secured and safe from unauthorized viewing.

In addition to safeguarding your data, this new VeriSign tool helps you to visually verify that our website is valid and secure. On most Internet browsers in use today, when you visit our site, you will notice the web-address bar will be highlighted green. This will indicate that you have connected to an SSL-encrypted webpage. This provides further proof to you, as a user of our site, that you have reached a secure and protected website.

On 04/08/2009, we will begin to use the new security procedures on our website. The process of logging into this secured website will be the same process as you currently do. We recommend that you navigate to our homepage at www.imstransport.com and navigate to the Vendor Login 'Go' button. After clicking the button, you will be redirected to an SSL Encrypted page. If you had logged in to our vendor site previously, you should be brought directly into our vendor website. Please note that because this is a significant security change, it is possible that you will have to provide your username and password again. Once you provide your username and password, however, your credentials will be saved as they are now.

Please note that if you are using a saved link to our website, your link may need to be adjusted to our new web page address. If you need to do this, please update your saved link to reference our updated web address of https://apps.imstransport.com.
