MOTOR CARRIERS

Why Haul for IMS?

IMS has been in business since 1995 as a non-asset based transportation services provider. Over the years, IMS has grown to become one of the most highly regarded companies to work with because we value and prioritize our relationships with our motor carriers. IMS is primarily involved in container drayage, but opportunities for truckload, LTL, and other domestic trucking service providers exist as well.

Advantages of hauling for IMS include:

Variety of Freight Options
IMS works with clients that have freight moving all over the country, in every market. Whether your drivers like to stay local, run the road, move hazardous freight, or anything/everything in between, IMS works with this information to contact you to haul loads that fit your operation.

IMS Schedules Pickup/Delivery Appointments
Our dispatch staff communicates with yours prior to sending a work order. This allows IMS to make sure you can handle the specifics of the move, and for the date/time requested. Our staff then works with the shipper/receiver to set the appointment so that you do not need a staff of your own to do so.

Dedicated Support Staff
We are staffed with industry experts that work with you on the transportation of each load. If you run into issues along the way, you’ll have the support of IMS’ customer service team helping you fix them and keep the freight moving.

Full Web Portal
We’ve taken many of the logistics management solutions we’ve developed for our customers and given our motor carriers similar tools. Through our FasTrak web portal, you’re able to truly manage your IMS freight, and communicate directly with our staff. Dashboard views allow you to manage your freight visually, seeing what exactly is coming when.
